Philosophizeme: Capitalism Through Cinema

Philosophizeme is Back!
Bringing interesting philosophical discussion through cinema.

This time around we’re discussing the most popular and perhaps also most hated economic, cultural and political system in the world, CAPITALISM! Whether you love or hate it, No one can deny that Capitalism is here to stay. So this weekend we thought it might be a good idea to have a little sit down, and discuss about the ideology that decides how much your paycheck should be next month.

What exactly is Capitalism? Where does it come from? Its pros and cons! Why is it so popular? And how come no one has bothered to replace it if a lot of people hate it so much? From Asia to America, from venture capitalist, to politics, and Silicon Valley startups. Nothing speaks louder than Cold Hard Cash. To quote Leo from Wolf of Wall Street “It’s business. Leave your emotions at the door.”

Discussion in Philosophizeme will be conducted in popular approaches in hope that those of you who initially are not interested in philosophy finally will fall in love with it.
